The 90´s
We were commissioned by PopScience to create a spot for NatGeo as part of the “The 90’s World” campaign, which consisted of developing a series of idents recalling the milestones and cultural moments that defined that decade.
The creative challenge was to take NatGeo’s distinctive isologo —one of the most recognizable brand elements in global television— and reinterpret it visually to evoke different themes and iconic references of the 1990s. Each ident was carefully crafted to maintain the channel’s brand integrity while introducing playful, nostalgic, and memorable visual twists that connected with audiences on both an emotional and cultural level.
The result was a set of dynamic, thematic idents that celebrated the legacy of the 90’s while reinforcing NatGeo’s reputation for creative storytelling and innovative broadcast design.
